Lumia Creative Studio, Nokias (now MS) best image editing app of its times took a plunge when it changed version from 5.5 to 6.0 which brought along a couple of good features but in return lost many good things. One of it was the Red Eye Removal feature.

MS knew whats missing & what the users wanted. Return of Red-Eye Removal is the just the result of it, a highly important feature in a world where majority of the photos are taken with a smartphone.

MS has fixed that gap today in its latest update to Lumia Creative Studio. Not only it has brought back the Red-Eye Removal feature but has brought back two good filters from the older version of app viz. Opal & Seashell. Then there is bug-fixes for Colour-Pop and addition of Tap & Hold to compare with Original feature.

The next update shall fix the UI. Its nowhere close to what it used be in version 5.5.

Heres the change-log

  • Red-eye removal is back
  • Opal & Seashell filters from Lumia Creative Studio 5.5 are back
  • Tap and hold to compare with original
  • Bug fixes for Color Pop layers
