Not only this if you have used the original ‘Nokia Ringtone Maker’ app then you might find it a bit restrictive as it only allows a 20 Sec song as Ringtone .. not anymore as the new beta app now allows 60 sec song as your Ringtone.
Here’s what the description reads
With Ringtone Maker you can create ringtones from the music on your phone. Simply open the app, select your favourite song and save it as a ringtone. You can cut your ringtone anyway you like, with editing controls that let you choose the start, end and length of your ringtone.
In this version thereâs now support for more music file formats: WMA, M4A, M4R, and AAC along with MP3.
Screenshots (Step by step procedure)
- First you are greeted with the ‘Welcome Screen’ .. here you get the most important info that ‘For legal reasons, you’re only allowed to make ringtones from DRM-free music.’
- Second you get the list of all your Songs as well as access to your Playlists by swiping to the right .. Select the song you want to make Ringtone of.
- Next you are asked to select the the Length of Song which you want to set as your Ringtone .. As you can see in the below screen-shot I have selected the the length from 0:21 to 1:21 (i.e. 1 Min .. that’s the max limit you can chose .. more than enough for many) .. press the ‘Save’ button below after finalizing the Length.
- Save your Custom Ringtone as well as Make it your current ringtone by checking the box as shown below. On completion click the ‘Right’ symbol below & your are done. 🙂
