With Windows Phone 8.1 officially out in the form of Nokia Lumia 630 retailing across the world, there is a temporary bad news for WP users. The most wanted application of any OS – ‘WhatsApp’ has been intentionally pulled from the Store. What this means is that all the new users joining the WP ecosystem will face a temporary setback of not being able to install WhatsApp.
Good news is that it is intentional and WhatsApp is working hard with Microsoft team to bring it back to the Store as early as possible. There is an official communication give to WMPU team which reads as below.
Thanks for your email. Unfortunately due to technical issues, we have chosen to un-publish WhatsApp Messenger on the Windows Phone platform. We are working closely with Microsoft to resolve the issues and hope to return to the store shortly. We apologize to our users for the temporary inconvenience.Thanksneeraj
