Truecaller for Windows Phone 8.1 will soon be getting the Live Caller Id feature which many are accustomed to on Android & iPhone. So far it was not a reality due to API limitations of Windows Phone 8 but all that is now changing thanks to the evolved & brand new APIs of Windows Phone 8.1.
The private beta of Truecaller (app version 4.1.10.) has already gained the Live Caller Id feature and it brings the Global Contacts Library to your Windows Phone. Screenshots of the same can be seen below.
Prerequisites
Caller ID is available only for Nokia WP 8.1 with Lumia Cyan or higher update. After installing the application it is recommended to update ânetwork+â? system application. In order to do that open Truecaller -> settings -> caller id -> Update network+ application.
