Microsoft as promised have unveiled the next generation of mid-range Lumias viz. Lumia 640 & Lumia 640 XL in India today. Lumia 640 is priced INR 11,999 (193 USD) and is a Flipkart Exclusive and already available. Lumia 640 XL is priced 15,799 (254 USD) & is also available from today.
The good change from the past here being that both the devices are already available for purchase from the launch day itself. I personally feel that both the devices are perfectly priced & if you are looking for one or have been waiting, then it’s a good time to purchase.
For the first time, Microsoft has inked a deal with Flipkart for a Lumia device and I am sure it’s will be work out great for Microsoft given Flipkart’s popularity.
That said the devices are no slouch. Here’s a brief look at the specs of both.
